Saved Social Posts
My camera on my phone is full of three things: my little guy, nature and other people’s posts on social media.
When I see or read something that moves me, I save it.
Sometimes I never go back to it. Sometimes it is months later and I pass it on my camera roll. Sometimes it plants a seed right away.
Top 5 List
Here are my TOP 5 Social Posts (And Other Things) that gave me PAUSE this month:
#1. DEBBIE ALLEN
“Claim your power …” acceptance speech at the Emmy’s.
Hell yes! I love hearing an accomplished woman, who has gone through many seasons in her life, acknowledge the TRUTH. Age does not determine when we are done, age does not determine when we achieve our greatest goals and it is time to claim the power in that.

#2- DAUGHTER TAKES ON BULLY
“I’m busting at the seams with pride …”
I want my son to be like this girl! Defending what is right without any adult telling her to do it, just because it was in her heart. That’s the kind of child that I want to raise!

#3 – MYCHAL’S PRAYER
“Lord take me where you want me to go …”
My best decisions in life have been when I hand it all over to God, then LISTEN. When I hear what is in my heart and follow my intuition (even when I have NO idea how it will turn out), I honor my soul and find the path that is truly mine.

#4 – SIGN AT FREIGHTHOUSE IN LYNDONVILLE, VT
“Be Kind to the ones that showed up …”
The manager told me that it was some of her young employees who asked if they could hang this sign. I love everything about the message! Smile, slow down, be patient with others.

#5 THE CHAPEL OF THE HOLY FAMILY (Lyndon, Vermont)
I made a pilgrimage here after a busy weekend. My anxiety was high and I needed to soothe my soul.
I walked around the chapel about a dozen times feeling the healing powers of the setting.
” Lord, my God, Thank you for Your Blessed Creation, these mountains and open skies.”
If you want to know more about The Chapel of the Holy Family or the area where The Freighthouse and Chapel are located (it’s called the Northeast Kingdom), I’m including links below.
The Northeast Kingdom is where I grew up. It’s soulful and peaceful and full of beauty. If you want to reconnect to what is simple, natural and calming, come see us!
Truly,
Julie
